Digital Citizenship-Prevent Cyber Bullying
Aims & Objectives:
Summary: On 10th January 2019, students of year 11 C presented an assembly, which focused on Cyber Bullying. The speakers from year 11C shared the adverse effects of bullying through an educational video. Further, proper guidelines against bullying and the importance of adult intervention during bullying situations was displayed through a role-play. The speakers also inspired students how they can make difference in school, home and in UAE by bringing awareness among the school community about cyber bullying. The speakers brought a spark into the young minds by encouraging students to explore their own behavior when it comes to witnessing bullying. The assembly concluded with a questionnaire session where student’s interaction was commendable. Further Ms. Sujaya (Head of Examinations) shared the procedure and the deadline for the registration of CIE forms. Finally, the assembly concluded with few announcements for the week by the HOY's and with the National Anthem.
- To raise awareness against cyber bullying among all members of the school community.
- To cascade improved strategies and responses to incidences of bullying that will address the causes of bullying and help avoid any recurrence.

Tolerance Assembly
Aims & Objectives:
To encourage more tolerant behavior among our peers and to create awareness about the year of tolerance.
Summary: The event consisted of a verbal presentation of different aspects of tolerance:
Tolerance as a Concept (Yusra) ; Tolerance in UAE (Malak) ; Tolerance in School (Shayan)
The entire assembly was organized by Arundhati and Yomna, who also created the visual resources for the event. This was followed by an interactive activity session with members of the audience, where they were asked to solve riddles and to properly arrange a mismatched sentence into the definition of tolerance. There was more participation than expected and ultimately the student representatives from 11H won the game. The interactive session was organized and presented by Adonia.
