Managing and Intelligent dealing with Emotions, Worry, Stress, Anxiety and Depression/ Optimism and satisfaction with life.
Aims & Objectives:
To help students identify stressors in life and ways to deal with stressors.
Summary: The event started with an activity to identify stressors in student’s lives. They were asked to share their stressors. The responses by the students were linked to different aspects such as worry, stress and so on. The presentation briefly spoke on how to identify stressors. The second part of the presentation focused on strategies that can be used to effectively deal with stressors. The session ended with a positive message from the school counsellor. The assembly was further concluded with few announcements for the week by the HOY’s, followed by the National Anthem.

WIN Green week and Sustainability
Aims & Objectives :
Summary: On Thursday 27th September, the students and FT’s of year 11 gathered in the auditorium for the 1st assembly of this academic year. The assembly was organized by the students of 11 A to create awareness about the sustainability in school and to celebrate WIN Green week. The assembly was presented with the help of a power point, prepared by Shayan, Erfan, Cole and Yaman. In addition to this, students prepared and presented the posters on sustainability and conservation of resources. Jibran Ali (SEND) presented his poster and was an enthusiastic and sportive speaker to speak on sustainability. In addition, there was a role-play, which conveyed the audience of how to be a sustainable citizen and to conserve scarce resources. Student presentation ended up with a video on the topic and feedback from the audience and by Ms.Jaya. Further few important announcements for the week was shared by Ms.Lincy. The audience cooperation and participation from the students throughout the assembly was commendable. The assembly winded up with the National Anthem.

Breast Cancer Awareness
Aims & Objectives: To increase awareness about breast cancer and reduce the stigma linked to the symptoms and diagnosis at the earlier stages.

BAB AL TALEEM
Aims & Objectives:
Summary:
On 4th October 2018, the students of Year 11 organized a charitable event where enthusiastic participants sold baked items for the secondary students to raise money for charity. The items sold were brownies, pastry and cakes. The response was quite overwhelming with students flooding the area outside Entry 2 eager to buy the goodies. Hygiene, health and safety were high on the agenda. All the baked food were sold within 20mins of the break. Both the food eaters and food bakers were feeling good and contented after the sale. It gave the students an opportunity to showcase their food products as well as develop a sense of organizing an event and ensuring the bake sale went on smoothly. All are looking forward for the next one!!

Aims & Objective: To create positive feeling and motivate students towards a healthier life style related to connectedness between students and adults.
Summary: On 29th October 2018, the students of Year 11G conducted an assembly on Well Being .
Happiness is a very important criteria for well-being. Amer posed questions to the cohort on the connection between teachers and students, the importance of good rapport between teachers and students and how the gap can be bridged if a student is not very comfortable with an adult in school. Amer also stated that it is very important to have a happy learning environment to promote learning in the classroom.
Malak, Arundhati, Adonia and Rhea also shared their views on how positivity can be spread around, if each one of us have a positive attitude we spread the same in all areas around us. They also stated that we must try by all means to be happy and if there is any negativity around us we should take it positively and overcome the negativeness with a smile. To conclude “There is no way to Happiness, Happiness is the only way”.
