Health Living
Aims & Objectives:
- To create an awareness about Health Living.
- To share views on the importance of Health living at school, home and at workplace.
On Sunday, 11th March 2018 the year 10 students and FT’s gathered in the Green canopy area for an assembly on Health living organized by the FT and students of 10 B5.
Praneet introduced the assembly topic followed by questioning the audience to define Health living. To ensure inclusion, Shahbaz with the help of his LSA Mrs. Dhanya, displayed a poster with the definition of health living as the practice of health enhancing behaviors.
To expound deeper on the gist of Healthy Living, vibrant presenters lined up to articulate on physical, emotional/mental and social aspects of health living. Joseph gave a tantalizing presentation on the physical aspect where he reiterated on good nutrition, appropriate weight, beneficial exercise and adequate rest. Sahan shared in detail on self-supportive attitudes, positive thoughts and viewpoints and a positive self-image as attributes of emotional health. Safal eloquently discussed on social ways of ensuring a health living.
To spice up the topic, Abishek had an informative list of advantages of healthy living, which he shared with much zeal and zest. More so, to ensure full engagement, Praneet had few questions to the audience, which proved clear understanding without any doubt. In conclusion, Calvin asked some students randomly for constructive feedback. The audience were extremely exhilarated and were all alive as 10B5 talent was relentlessly unfolding. Thanks 10B5, Seeing is believing. For real you have talent.
Cyber Bullying
Aims & Objectives:
Summary:
On March 22, 2018, 10 B2 conducted an assembly on Cyber Bullying. The topic was presented with a help of a power point presentation, the presenters presented the detrimental effects of cyber bullying and ways to keep oneself safe in social media. The audience followed the presentation with a kahoot quiz wherein there was 100% participation. The session concluded with few interactive questions and feedback from the audience. The assembly ended with the National Anthem and few important announcements for the week from the Head of Years.

Courtesy Costs Nothing
Aims & Objectives: - To understand the importance of showing courtesy in our daily lives.

On Sunday, 4th March 2018, students of year 10G1 conducted an assembly on Courtesy Costs Nothing. To begin with, Velma and Himani greeted the audience and introduced the assembly topic. Following this, a few of 10G1 girls shared their views on courtesy to further enhance the understanding amongst the audience. Velma and Arren then recited a poem to lighten up the mood further. The highlight of the assembly was the song sung beautifully by Heart, supported by Maria who played the guitar. Constructive feedback on the assembly was shared by the audience. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
